As a boy in Georgia, picked up a used guitar at a garage sale and learned to play southpaw from a wise lady named Miss Genie. Grew up and released his solo debut, Sweet Tea Circus, in 2012 and is currently working on a follow-up with producer James Frazee (My Morning Jacket, The Hold Steady, Sharon Van Etten).
